An 86th minute equaliser from the visitors means that we travel to Buckinghamshire on Tuesday for a replay to decide who gets to travel to Baffin Milton Rovers or Hartley Wintney in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on September 5th.
The Swans made a strong start to the game, with Theo Lynden just off target in the first minute, and took the lead on three minutes, when Jack Smith and Leighton Green's increasingly productive partnership saw Smith make space, and slide the ball to Green to slot past Irish Keeper Tom Ladyman.
Green again and Olly Sully went close before Irish's first attempt on goal with 22 minutes gone, but Callum Hirst was well over with his effort.
Slimbridge continued to dominate without stretching their lead - Hadyn Evans had a header saved by Ladyman, and Jack Smith had what looked like a reasonable goal notched off for offside, and as the game wound towards half time, Irish pulled the goal back with their second effort on target - a clearance found Ben Farrell on the edge of the box, and his superb volley gave Ronnie Newbery in the Slimbridge goal no chance.
Five minutes into the second period, the hosts took the lead again - Smith's cross saw Green felled as he tried to reach the ball, and Sully converted the resulting penalty.
On 65 minutes, Owen Giles saw an effort come off the Irish post from a corner as Slimbridge looked to kill the game off, but their failure was to come back and haunt them.
With four minutes remaining, a quick Irish break let Tom MacDonald in, and although Newbery saved his first effort, he converted the rebound to force a replay.
