'Mangotsfield going down doesn’t change how we will approach tomorrow’s game. You need to go into every single game with the same mindset – if anything, now, with Barnstaple winning yesterday, Mangotsfield don’t want to come bottom – there’s going down, which was confirmed for them yesterday, and there is going down bottom of the table – if anything, the pressure is now off them, this is their last home game of the season, and their last home game in the Southern League for a while, so if anything, it gives them a gee up. 

But no, we need to go there with the right mindset, as per usual and how we normally do. But it definitely doesn’t change anything at all the way we will approach the game – we are going to have to rotate – playing two games in three days is very hard for the boys, but if anything we’ve got a stronger squad for tomorrow , but it’s about giving some of the players a rest as well. 

We have to remember they are semi-pro, not getting paid big bucks, and have families and friends that they want to enjoy Bank Holidays with, so I have to try and balance that as well.'

The Swans First Team return to Thornhill Park next Saturday (23rd, 3.00pm) when AFC Totton make the visit. Whether there is anything riding on that game for Totton regarding their bid for the Play Offs will depend on results tomorrow.
